I got a letter over six months ago now saying that the Smart Meter was going to be installed in my block of units.
The installation date came and went and I thought nothing of it.
Today for some reason I decided to look in the meter box. All but two meters (one of which is mine) was replaced with a Smart Meter.
I did not send an objection letter or anything, so I wonder why it wasn't replaced.
Now I'm thinking should I leave it well enough alone till someone works it out or would I be better off (ie cost wise) ringing up and saying why is mine missing?

?? Could there be any more hysteria about smart meters?

The meters are irrelevant. They enable different pricing schedules but they don't require it. Blame the government, not the meters.
