I got the HD2 and you can easily cancel the annoying Telstra quick links through reg editing.
If they put Android on the HD2 it would be utterly invincible.
I have the HD2 and love it. Awesome phone. One great thing is that you are able to dual boot with Android if you want. The XDA developers forum have some good threads you can read (or try at your own risk). Only problem with Android on the HD2 at the moment is battery life.
That said, HTC Sense makes the windows phone pretty awesome. There are a few good cycling apps available on each platform, Sporty Pal is may favorite at the moment, but I'm trying a few apps. Tom Tom is also great in the car with a 4.3" phone.
