Hopefully the superglue will work and you will have a working light again soon.
When I cycle both ways to work, cycling in is not a problem (daylight) ... it is cycling home that is in the dark! Since daylight savings finished, I haven't cycled home in the daylight ONCE.
I was also thinking "bugger" yesterday, but for a totally different reason.
I have a list of MANY things on my "to do" list at work - some of which have been on the list for a while (because other more urgent things keep on coming up).
One of these was my first journal article (from my honours year last year). We submitted it in March and got comments back in July. My supervisor told me to reformat it for a different journal - which I did. But he didn't tell me what type of article ... so I assumed a normal journal article (max word count 5000 words, authors 8, tables & figures combined 8, references 25).
We submitted it yesterday - and a little while later my supervisor emailed me ... type of journal article is a "Work in Progress report" which has max word count 2000 (2700 approx at the moment), authors 4 (and we have 8 authors), 4 tables & figures (we have
and 15 references (we have 24).
So when I'm back at work tomorrow I have a rather big editing task on my hands!!
