Mozzar, I have the Tuff HPH from Gold Cross as well and they are great. I lent them to a colleague at work last night to try them out this morning and he was so impressed he's going to get some as well. My old gloves I got from Rebel Sports, Roecki, not nearly as warm but are more suitable in the milder weather. I actually prefer to wear long fingered gloves most of the time as the fingerless ones tend to scrunch up under my fingers and feel uncomfortable gripping the handlebars.
When i first read the subject i immediatly thought of windstopper gloves. As howdy said you can get them from kathmandu. You don't need fleece lined ones because the gloves don't let any wind though, and they aren't too expensive.

Toasty! Even in this ice in the hills.
Althought, one of mine is wearing through the thumb. Any ideas for patching/ strengthening the load bearing areas - I already put my fingerless riding gloves over the top, but the right thumb is wearing out.....
