OK, so detour is not as bad as it could have been, and it does appear they are going to the effort of sealing it as they did at Glenferrie Rd. But all the same: that orange line is a fence. If they'd planned that to be three metres further to the south-west and used about the same amount of new tarmac as they'll be putting around the oval, then they could have left the path on the south bank of the creek.
30 seconds is still about four hours total for anyone using the path year-round. Multiply that by the number of people who ride that path..
went riding on the weekend along the bike path, followed the map attached,..but @ the end of the blue line, the path is pretty much closed. any idea where to go? I was going to the city dirrection. its pretty confusing.
