Frankston police have welcomed the bylaw.
"Normally we would receive an average of 40 nuisance complaints each weekend relating to monkey motorists, but last weekend we had none," said Sen-Sgt Terry Bannan. "This local law is removing the nuisance caused to residents."
but I'd turn right at Miller's Rd and ride along the bike lane, turn left into Blackshaws Rd which doesn't have a bike lane but isn't too bad to ride on. Then left up Kernot St to cross the railway line, right at The Ave, cross Melbourne Rd and follow all the way down to near the river. Left along Hyde St, right at Sommerville Rd, left at Whitehall St and this takes you to the start of the Docklands Hwy

It's pretty much sealed all the way to the Skeleton Creek Bridge (I can't recall now if there was a dirt track immediately north of it, but if there was it was firm and no worry). But on the south side of the bridge, it was pretty rough and ready. I ride a MTB with knobby tyres, and I was pretty happy I did on that section. I spent my time looking at the track and manoevring around to get the best line.
