But the big risk is the CTP, if you hit someone without it how do they get compensation for their injuries?
Payouts I've seen are in the millions now if the victim is made a quadriplegic and will need attendant care and all the mods to home and vehicles for the rest of their lives.
With the permit system here in Vic the vehicle has CTP cover for the duration of the permit.
Never said it was a good loophole, hence why NSW seems to have implemented whatever new system Schwarz and Barefoot were discussing.
