Through years of being exposed to the sun on the bike and beach I have some skin damage the doctor tells me its cause I'm getting older and its not cancer. I protect myself with sunscreen when commuting and wear a buff under my helmet.
Does any one have alternatives to sunscreen to protect your hands and arms when it is hot

Long fingered gloves may sound like they would be hot but after wearing them for a while I prefer them as you don't get sweaty slippery fingers, which is not pleasant, especially if you are descending.
