Please be advised that the "default" operation mode will be for the bicycle/pedestrian movement crossing the one-way service road. Vehicles on the service road will activate the traffic signals to change the operation from the bicycle/pedestrian movement crossing the service road to the vehicle movement on the service road. The traffic signals will remain in the bicycle/pedestrian movement if there are no vehicles on the service road.
Thank you for the enquiry. Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please contact me on **********.

There is always a review, an investigation, a trial, a proposed design solution etc. that is going to fix things for cyclists but ultimately absolutely nothing has been done. Turns out all that was just words/bluff and bluster to make people think that they were doing something to rectify one of the most dissapointing engineering solutions retrofitted onto an existing bicycle path anywhere that I have ever seen.
I just assume that they don't want anyone cycling there and I am organising a one man protest (if I can get myself organised). I plan on doing a longer commute on the next Super Tuesday bicycle count so that they don't capture me on Footscray Road and writing to BNV and Vic Roads advising of precisely why. Nothing else seems to have worked.
