Faced with physical violence, I’d probably do similar although if I had the wherewithal, I’d have said something like “I’m sorry to have inconvenienced you” and be happy to let the camera take care of the rest like he obviously did.
I’ve got a young family and it would do them no good if I got myself messed up due to an altercation with someone who’d clearly lost it.
On a similar note, did anyone notice the ad for the video camera eyewear in the latest edition of Ride On? There was a caption mentioning something about the footage being used as evidence against violent perpetrators such as the one above for police/insurance/law etc. I think increasingly, video evidence is going to make drivers more accountable for their actions which is a good thing b/c right now, there doesn’t seem to be much of it about.
