OT I know but I have had (and have seen) far too many problems with people using CO2 as the sole means of inflation. Those cartridges are brutally strong and can easily damage fragile presta valves and that's ignoring the many "fails" where the valve is not attached properly, freezes fingers etc.
Also, oftentimes, you need a pump if you want to find the puncture point to repair it. No good with CO2.
I just carry a minipump these days (the lezyne ones are great) - fits easily into jersey pocket, weighs next to nothing and I can get 80psi or so with relative ease - more than enought to finish the ride and get home.
of course, best method is prevention - just run Conti GP4K's or 4 Seasons - not the best ride going around but I average a puncture no more than every 6 months or so.
