Having two batteries solves the charging problem and also allows me to leave the battery on my commuter bike and switch the light to my road bike.

Cool. Just thinking of the potential of using RC Car Lithium Polymer batteries to build a nice commuting pack. Something in the range of 12,000mAh to 15,000mAh. Currently I use 2 x 2S 4,000mAh batteries in series.
