Yep. Who'd have suspected it? A pothole forms, so you despatch a couple of ex-footballers with shovels to slap down a bit of road-dough on top of the hole. Problem solved.
I really can't believe that didn't fix the problem can you?
I think we should radically change our approach; just avoid it with our bicycles until such time as a BMW/Merc/<other-ridiculously-expensive-car> goes over it and gets damaged. Then we sit back and enjoy the **** hitting the fan. No doubt it will then get fixed soon enough.
