Tyberious Funk wrote:Wow... last night was quite a rush. For the first time in months I was able to leave work at a respectable time. Consequently, the bike paths were full of commuters. I was able to pass not one, but two other riders. This is a momentous occasion for me... normally I'm the one getting passed by everyone. I would have passed a third if I hadn't dropped by water bottle and had to stop and pick it up.
My commute is pretty short... I'm estimating around 5km (each way), but I'm not sure. That's still potentially 50km a week. Unforunately I'm not riding in to work because there aren't any shower facilities. I'm trying to decide whether it is viable for me to just sponge down. I need to get to the point where I can handle a 42km cycle so I reckon I need to get as many KMs under the belt as possible.
