I had this thought about a suitable cross over advertising campaign that could work.
Car advert - run 4 mini clips.
run the advert of someone getting :
*) written up for using a mobile phone (showing fine + demerit points)
*) running a red light and getting flashed (showing fine and points)
*) driving without a seat belt and going through a window (showing TAC patient care learning to walk)
*) speeding (fine)
Then running the complimentry cycling clip in the same time slot perhaps in the same ad break.
*) talking on your mobile phone (with voice over, you wouldn't do this while driving) then show equal fine and points (if points is possible?)
*) running a red light (voice over + showing equal fine + points)
*) without a helmet (yes yes, i know but still; show a TAC head injury victim)
*) being a general idiot close to other riders (wave of the little finger by the rider being passed?)
