I either catch the train both ways, or catch the train with my bike into work and cycle home.
Occasionally I get a lift home with someone from work who lives nearby.
Today was a funny day though.
* Dad drove me (with my bike) to Monash uni, Clayton campus
I learnt how to use the lecture theatre equipment there.
* I cycled from Monash to the Alfred (thanks for your route hints - I'll go Princes Hwy then Wellington Street next time ... have to beat Baki, my supervisor who catches public transport
* Then I managed to score a lift home from work.
However that didn't go as smoothly as hoped. I had to take my bike with me (appointment tomorrow morning so need to cycle from appointment to work afterwards, as public transport is a pain in the next).
I couldn't remember how to release the brakes to take my front wheel off
... but luckily, neither could my friend who was taking me home. (I'm surprised she didn't, cos she does triathlons).
We managed to get my bike in her small car regardless though *phew*
Turned out that my brakes were pretty tight - and I had remembered the correct way to release them!!!
Time to stop procastinating and get this 5 minute lecture written!
