Just wondering what people tend to eat for lunches at work when they commute? Do you have more of a main meal at lunch and then again at dinner or just a sandwhich or somethin similar that is more 'lunch like'?
I spose what I am getting at is - do you eat bigger lunches on commuting days as opposed to non commuting days or its similar either way?
This week I am eating spag bol for lunches as I made a fair bit of it on the weekend, but I normally wouldn't eat something so big/heavy at lunch. Last week when I only commuted once, I bought a schnitzel sandwhich on the day I rode and ate soup and toast on the other days.
Lisanne, I agree with the more often concept! I eat 6 smaller meals a day and find it has really activated my metabolism. I am lighter and much healthier than I was eating 2 main meals and a couple of snacks.
i would eat what i would normally eat when not commuting to work by bicycle. i normally just have a small snack in the mid morning and afternoon and a regular lunch. either leftovers or a sandwitch but now that i have braces i can only eat soft food so i normally have soup.
