The cycling gods are at peace at the moment......
All hail the cycling Gods. That's a cracking pace Mhayli.
That sure is a cracking pace!! One day maybe... one day I will be able to and if I don't the ahh well!
I too rode in again this morning - the second time that I have done back to back rides to work and today I don't feel as tired as the last time. Legs also didn't feel as tired on the ride in! and although I was mindful of not over doing it today I was only 15 seconds slower than yesterday's time!
Was extremely hungry last night though after riding in a Northerly on the way home had to have two slices of toast with peanut butter before going out to dinner cos I would have just eaten anything in sight otherwise!
The contacts were OK on the ride home too which was good, although this morning when I put the left one in I somehow dropped it and had to find it on the floor - not a good start to the day! I didn't put them back in after my shower yesterday morning or this morning, but I will try to put them in at lunch time to try to spend some time getting used to them.
Snuffy - I don't know many people who use contacts so knowing that you often use eye drops is a good thing to know. Also - if you don't wear them or prescription glasses when riding do you get a headache? I don't need to wear mine all the time but I find a get a headache if I drive or ride w/out them
