Distance: 197.9km (yep a BV 200ker) and Elevation: (1,700m), that's better turns Mt Eliza climb into a pre-climb bump.
Riders start at usual start locations until they reach Dromana, then it's the carbon crunching climb up Arthur's Seat, once at the top it's a Tour De France like valley cruise to Flinders through lush rolling hills and quite farmland and wineries. At Flinders you can enjoy a nice snack and prepare for the climbs going back up to Arthur's Seat. Not as steep going back, around 4-5% type climbing. The road (Baldy's to Purves) are very achievable climbing wise that go through beautiful fern forests.
After a nifty descent down Arthur's Seat it's back to Dromana to join the other riders on the traditional route home.
