Well not long to go now. If you haven't worked it out already, getting up early on Sunday morning isn't much fun particularly if you haven't slept a lot from the excitement. You should be trying to get your sleep patterns in order from now on in so you start Sunday morning fresh and strong.
Go to bed early and get up early from now on. Your sleep and nutritional preparations are important. Hydrate and carbo-load should start no later than Thursday to be ready for the ride.
Ride your bike on Saturday as a last minute check to make sure its functioning well.
Prepare a check list of what you need for the ride and lay it all out the day before. No last minute rushing around or turning up in the car without your helmet!!!
Get up early enough on Sunday so you can have a proper nutritional breakfast, check the bike over and not have to rush to the start.
Its a good idea to check your tyres the moment you get up on Sunday morning too. At least you will have time to fix them before the start.
Good luck all , may the winds be favourable and have a safe and happy ride. Look out for the rodent in the Camelback
