It will be most likely you will returning when the roadside safety has packed up, which removes the signs from Geelong Road warning of cyclists. Additionally that Westgate will be closed to cyclists by that time and you will have to find your own re-route back to Docklands.
However I always get critised that i expect too much of people doing the 210/250km ATB.
I have had my roadie for about 11 weeks and am doing M-S-Q-M. I have not done any riding previous to this. Does this mean I shouldn't do it?
Prior to last weekend my longest ride was 70km and I have only been doing about 80-100km per week. Last Sunday I did Mordialloc - Sorrento return, about 135 kms in 4hrs 45min riding time with a stop at Sorrento. Given the conditions (wind) I think for me the 210km is acheivable, even if I need to have another 30min stop enroute.
+1 for all the advise re nutrition and hydration as that is what I was having trouble trying to work out.
