Come one, come all, this family friendly festival has something on for everyone and you're all welcome! Join us in celebrating 200 years of the bike. We have lined up a great list of free activities and things to enjoy to keep you, your family and friends entertained throughout the festival

Geelong history ride

From a view of the city from Eastern Gardens we track the story of the city and cycling over 200 years with an optional ride to Point Henry to watch vintage cyclists in the park.

Event is run by Rod Charles, author of A Whirr of Many Wheels whirrofmanywheels.wordpress.com

Bike Bendigo 200 years of the bicycle ride

In celebration of 200 years of the bicycle events occurring nationally, join us for a family friendly ride, meeting at Wolstencroft Park playground in Flora Hill cycling along the bike path to Spring Gully playground. From here we will be sharing a picnic – bring a little something to share and a picnic rug! (there is also a café across the road to grab a hot coffee/tea).

This is a smooth ride away from traffic for riders of all abilities and at your own pace. If there are short on-road sections Bike Bendigo marshals will be present to guide riders.

Sydney - Queens Square

Penny-farthings to ride down College street to celebrate 200 years of the bike

Join us for a historical ride along Hyde Park, followed by morning tea in Queens Square to celebrate this milestone for our favorite mode of transport. If you have a heritage bike that you would like to dust off, now is the perfect opportunity, otherwise feel free to bring your own.

Coffee and morning tea available afterwards at Queen Square.

Ride2School – Participating primary schools

Participating Primary Schools will do a special Ride2School for the Bike's 200th Birthday.  Kids will Bling Their Bikes in honour of the 200th anniversary being held on Sunday 11 June.

Also, Nightcliff Primary School will have it's Bike Hospital open for some special love and attention of kid's bikes.

Darwin – Cullen Bay

Departing from Cullen Bay at 7.00 am, the cycling community will be invited to a special Bicycle Network Breakfast at the Salty Plum Cafe at East Point Reserve.
