Workplace Coordinators

Workplace Coordinators play a key role in the success of the Ride2Work Program and contributing to change in their workplace.

You don't need to be the fastest, most frequent bike rider in your workplace. You don't even have to ride yourself. You just need to be willing to give it a go! As a Workplace Coordinator you will receive a free promotional kit which includes posters, brochures and stickers within a week of registering to help spread the word and organise your team.

To register as a Workplace Coordinator, simply check the appropriate box when you register to participate in Ride2Work, or update your registration any time. Once registered as a Workplace Coordinator, you will be able to see the registrations of other people who join your workplace team. Make sure everyone enters the same workplace name and suburb so they are automatically matched into your team. By updating some workplace data, you will automatically be entered in the National Workplace Challenge.

Help spread the word by:

Promoting the National Workplace Challenge.

Sending a scripted email (.doc) to encourage others in your workplace to register.

Uploading a Ride2Work web tile on your intranet to spread to word.

Hosting a workplace breakfast or lunchtime event.

Awarding prizes for best dressed bike, most stylish commuter or longest commute.

Nominating a Ride2Work Ambassador - someone in a senior role within your organisation who could be influencial in encouraging others (either within, or external to your organisation).

Providing support and encouragement for new commuters.

Telling everyone how great riding to work is and why they should get involved!
