Victorian State Government

National Ride2School Day was a fantastic success in Victoria with Members of State Parliament getting in on the walking and wheeling action!

The students at Derinya Primary School in Frankston South loved riding in to school with MP Geoff Shaw. In Carrum, MP Donna Bauer chose the winner of the ‘decorate your helmet’ competition and encouraged the students to keep walking and wheeling throughout the entire school year.

Dee Ryall, State Member for Mitcham celebrated at St. James Primary School further east in Gippsland, MP Tim Bull encouraged school communities in his electorate to leave the car at home and get to school by bike, scooter or foot.

Schools in the northern metropolitan region received State Member Craig Ondarshie’s support . A special assembly at The Lakes South Morang P-9 School included Mr Ondarshie telling students all about the benefits of riding, walking, skating and scooting to school.
