Become a Volunteer
If you are able to offer your time, expertise and enthusiasm, then we would love to hear from you. We can link you up with local schools that require assistance (if you are not already connected with one), and there are plenty of other opportunities as well. Please get in touch!
1. Express interest
Contact the Bicycle Network Volunteer Coordinator on domore@bicyclenetwork.com.au or phone (03) 8376 8888 to express your interest in registering as a volunteer.
2. We will contact you
Ride2School will contact you for an initial chat or meet and greet to check your suitability to the role and to determine the support you may require.
3. Fill out documentation
Ride2School may request you complete required paperwork and we will determine prerequisite qualifications and/or training (if applicable) to get you on your way.
If you wish to work directly with schools and students, you will first have to pass a Working with Children Check, selection process and possible reference checking to determine your suitability for specific roles. Under the Working with Children Act 2005, only people engaging in ‘child-related work’ must apply for and pass the Working with Children (WWC) Check. A Working with Children Check does not apply for office based work.
