About R2S
The Ride2School Program works with families, communities, policy-makers and partner organisations to encourage students to ride, walk, skate or scoot to school.
The Ride2School Program is funded through the Department of Planning and Community Development - Sport and Recreation Victoria.
Ride2School is supported by a Steering Committee which includes representatives of VicHealth, VicRoads, the Department of Planning and Community Development - Sport and Recreation Victoria, the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development, the Municipal Association of Victoria and the Department of Infrastructure's Walking and Cycling Branch including Travelsmart Victoria.
What does Ride2School stand for?
- Helping kids build the skills, know-how and confidence to ride or walk to school, and beyond.
