Allez Diane, a Lilydale Tour legend

Pictured above top left, Diane Little leads her spin class along some of the gruelling stages of the Tour de France using Cadel Evans as a motivation.

The 51-year-old, a Tour de France junkie, stayed up late most nights over three weeks to watch the amazing events unfold as Cadel made history. During the Tour she took her knowledge of what had unfolded in each stage with her to her classes at the Lilydale Gym on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

She decked out the spin room with cut-outs of the leaders’ jerseys and other colourful decorations to get the spinners more into the spirit of the Tour. She even presented jerseys and brought out champagne at the end.

Diane is a very keen cyclist herself. She will ride her 12th Around The Bay later this year, has completed a number of Great Victorian Bike Rides, and she and her husband Mark enjoyed the Great West Australian Bike Ride earlier this year.

She founded the Lilydale Legends, an active cycling group, in 2002.

Bravo, Diane!
