Bicycle Superstore

Event Sponsor, official bike store and on ride mechanics of the RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride

A message from Nigel Letty, CEO of Bicycle superstore.

We're very pleased that Bicycle Network Victoria have chosen us as the preferred service provider and bike store again for this year's RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride.

For those of you that don't know us, we have been affiliated with the Great Vic for many years now. We love the event because it celebrates all that riding a bike in Victoria stands for. The mateship, the history, the involvement of the local communities and the beauty of the surrounds, and most of all, having fun.

We're all very excited about this year's route it's sure to be an adventure to say the least. People often talk to me about overseas holidays and how amazing some countries are, but you know, people from all over the world are saying the same thing about our beautiful country. The Great Vic is such a great way to explore our own backyard.

On my very first Great Vic I witnessed 5000 riders from all walks of life join in and celebrate the ride along the Great Ocean road. It was an experience that I won't forget; I hadn't expected the workload that 5000 riders brings or the 2am finishes where we worked through the night to get every rider back on the road for the next day!

I very quickly realised that there was no way that we could leave anyone behind. What I mean by that is if someone has a puncture, a brake problem or needs a complete wheel rebuild to keep going the next day, that's what we'll do.

That's our commitment to you.

As part of the lead up to the event, we've got some great specials on bikes in store as well as a Great Vic rider exclusive. A $10, 25-point safety check on your bike that is credited back to you if you purchase anything in store.

That means we'll check to make sure your bike is ready for the ride for virtually nothing.

Make sure you join us on Facebook and/or Twitter to keep up to date with all of our latest deals, events and handy tips on how to maintain your bike.

That's it from me, train hard and we'll see you in November if not beforehand.

Cheers
Nigel Letty
