Bicycle Network: RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride

In 2013 the RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride rides through the very best of The Great Ocean Road and Colac Otways.  If you are a local community member, here is your chance to get involved in the fun and friendliness of the Ride, whilst giving your community group a chance to share in $2000 worth of prizes, thanks to Bicycle Network Victoria and RACV!

The RACV Warmest Welcome program

The RACV Warmest Welcome is open to all community groups (schools, sporting clubs, etc) who want to help support the riders as they make their way through your region. The program is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate as a community and show the riders what your community group is all about. You can welcome the riders in any way you like (e.g. designing posters and putting them in windows/on fences, have a town 'mascot' welcoming the riders, hold a town, decorated bikes lining front yards, etc).

If you register and display this document somewhere within your group's activities so our judges know you are supporting the ride, then you will be in the running to win one of three cash grants from RACV

Bicycle Network representatives will be on the look out for your warmest welcome along the ride, and will be judging on the following areas;

• Effort, Enthusiasm & Excitement
• Decorations, Signage and Displays
• Community Spirit
• That eXcitement Factor
