Heatherton hurdle overcome

26 July 2011. VicRoads will invest $1M to connect the existing Heathton Road path into the surrounding network at the Dandenong Creek Trail, greatly improving bike access for riders in Endeavour Hills

Long frustrated locals will finally be able to connect into much of the metropolitan path network via the Dandenong Creek Trail, Eastlink path and beyond.

The nearby Dandenong Activity centre is now an easy ride for the residents of Endeavour Hills.

This link could also open up another way for riders to get closer to the Lysterfield Park Mountain Biking circuit.

Our attention will now continue to focus on another nearby project to achieve a similar, and higher impact, connection to link the Eumemmerring Creek Path to Dandenong Activity Centre.
