The path between the city centre and the University in Mt Clear is a fantastic link desperately in need of upgrade and completion. This path can help get students to and from town in a sustainable manner and also benefit the wider community of Ballarat.
Election opportunity for candidates to show support
15 August 2012 Bicycle Network Victoria has identified this project as a local council priority for the 2012 Local Government election. Candidates should be ready to support the development and full or partial funding of this project in conjunction with State Government and can tell riders in their Council area their position by posting their candidates' statement at VoteBike.
Ballarat link needs completion
June 2010 The exisitng path needs upgrading to at minimum a 2.5m concrete path and the northern link into the city centre and the railway station needs to be achieved. The path could also provide a stronger tourism link between the station and Soveriegn Hill Hisotric Park
