Swanston Street has been transformed since 1992. Pedestrian numbers have more than doubled. Rider numbers have gone up seven times! We think that the street can be improved further. To do this we need your help.
A sneaky bike ban option added to review
1 April Last night the Melbourne City Council launched a public consultation into the possible future layout of Swanston Street. They have snuck in an additional option which 'which would consider re-allocating bikes from Swanston Street to an alternative route'

The public consultation is open until 8 May. Council will consider the report in July 2009.
