More bike infrastructure, says Tony Abbott
Tony Abbott, former federal health minister, and now Opposition frontbencher, recently wrote in The Australian that Australia needed better bike infrastructure.
“Many councils mark bike lanes on suitable roads. It should be a planning requirement that all new main roads have enough width to create a shoulder for bikes,” he said.
