South: Bay Trail 2 (Patterson River to Humphries Road)

This is the section of the Bay Trail that is in the City of Frankston.

State Government funding for the completion of the critical Frankston section of the Bay Trail expires in 2010.

Despite conducting several route reviews since the early 1990's, the Frankston Council is yet to agree on a route for the trail and is currently in the process of reviewing their commitment to completing this section of the Trail.

The Council is not consulting with riders, local bike riding groups or Bicycle Network Victoria as part of this deliberation.

Frankston residents are encouraged to contact the Mayor and Councillors and let them know about your support for the trail.
