Barwon River Trail
The trail follows the banks of the Barwon River. It's a pleasant scenic loop taking in parkland and reserves.
Starting points with car parking:
- Buckley Falls (Melway 450 K4)
- Fyansford Common (Melway 451 A2)
- Newtown Park (Melway 451 D6)
- Balyang Sanctuary (Melway 451 F8)
- Barwon Valley Park (Melway 451 H8)
- Landy Field (Melway 452 B9).
Bay Trail
This trail follows the foreshore from Drumcondra to Eastern Beach. Check out the sculptures along the way and enjoy lunch at one of the foreshore cafes.

- Rippleside Park (Melway 442 B10)
- Griffiths Gully Jetty (Melway 442 A12)
- Eastern Beach (Melway 452 B2).
Waurn Ponds Trail
Following the Waurn Ponds Creek, this trail starts near Bunnings on the Princes Hwy and runs through the Waurn Ponds Valley Parkland to Belmont. Not only is it a pleasant ride but it also passes Shopping World and cinemas, regional baseball centre and skateboard park, giving off-road access to these locations. See Melway 465.
Bellarine Rail Trail
The rail trail starts at the Geelong Showgrounds and goes to Drysdale and Queenscliff. See link (right) for trail description and map.
