Green Buildings and Bike Parking
Bike parking and end of trip facilities contribute credits towards the Green Star Rating of development

Credit Criteria for Office V3 2008
One point
- One secure bike parking space per 20 staff
- One shower for every 10 bike parking spaces
- Change facilities adjacent to showers
- One secure locker per bike space in the change facilities
Two points
- One secure bike space per 10 staff
- One shower for every 10 bike parking spaces
- Change facilities adjacent to showers
- One secure locker per bike space in the change facilities
Additional point
- Requirements of either one or two points has been met
- Visitor bike parking at a ratio of one bike space per 50 staff
- Accessible location, signposted and close to a major public entrance to the building
