As part of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety, RACT is committed to increasing safety of all vulnerable road users. We were pleased to support the recent production of a Code of Conduct for cyclists in Tasmania, through our RACT Community Fund. The Code was developed due to specific rules applying to bikes that are not well understood by either riders or drivers and can cause confusion and conflict. RACT also offers Bike Assist, a breakdown services for cyclists, as part of its RACT Roadside. |
