Brimbank RiderLog
06 August 2012. Thank you to everyone who uses RiderLog whilst riding in and through the municipality of Brimbank. Congratulations to Donna Haxby of Arder, the winner of the iPad for uploading RiderLog data during the Brimbank RiderLog promotion period.
02 July 2012. Over 1,295 rides travelling in and through the municipality of Brimbank have been logged with RiderLog; totalling a cumulative distance of over 34,072km rides logged! The Brimbank RiderLog promotion period has ended, thank you to everyone who participated. The winner of the iPad prize will be announced later this month. Bicycle Network is currently preparing a RiderLog report for the City of Brimbank, to assist it in understanding rider behaviour including the main routes utilised by riders.
22 May 2012. Brimbank City Council and Bicycle Network Victoria invite all people who ride in and through the municipality of Brimbank to use the RiderLog application (App). The data will inform Brimbank City Council's planning and development for increased bicycle use.
The RiderLog report, commissioned by Brimbank City Council will be derived from RiderLog data which will be used to illustrate:
- Rider behaviour.
- The main routes utilised by riders (see example image in the panel to the right, which shows an aggregate of rider flows).
Why should I use RiderLog?
Every ride you log with the RiderLog App is a vote for better bicycle infrastructure.
Is there a prize?
Yes there is a prize up for grabs! Use the RiderLog App and go into the draw for the chance to WIN an iPad.
Who is eligible to win?
The iPad prize is eligible to all Bicycle Network Victoria members and non-members who switch on their RiderLog App when riding for the duration of the period nominated below. Please also tick "share my information" if you want to be eligible for the prize, to enable us to contact you if you win.
When can I win?
Download the RiderLog App and register your ride details between 23 May and 29 June 2012. The more rides you log, the more chance you have of winning!
