With the assistance of Regional Development Victoria, Bicycle Network Victoria has developed a set of ten information brochures, with topic-specific guidance for the development of trails in regional areas

The Minister for Regional and Rural Development Peter Ryan launched the ten inaugural information brochures which are now available from this page. Click here to see Minister Ryan's media release.
Ten trail-building information brochures have been produced to offer guidance on best practices, interpretation of the Austroads guidelines, and short, easy-to-use advice for local councils building trails and paths. This will help Councils deliver best-quality trails and avoid the pitfalls that sometimes occur when the right thing to do sometimes isn't clear. These pages will also help improve consistency in the quality of trails across Victoria and Australia.
