My Bike Shops
My Bike Shops puts riders who want their loyalty to be rewarded by better service, together with stores that will go the extra mile for regular customers.
To set up My Bike Shops
The first step is to log on to Blink using the button on the right hand column. If you are already a Member or a Friend, then log on with your rider number. If not, then you can join up as a paid up member or become a Friend which is free.
Once you are inside Blink you can see My Shops half way down the page.
My Bike Shops
At first My Bike Shops will look like this.
Click on 'choose another' and the computer will take you to the Bike Shop Finda - see the screenshot in the right hand column.
Use the Filter or search at the top of the Finda to locate the store that you favour. Click the blue Add button and the store will be entered as one of your bike shops. See screenshot on the right.
You can choose three stores
We have limited the number to three because we don't want to endorse cherry picking. However we recognise that you might be loyal to your lunchtime store near work, your niche expert and the family bike shop.
You can change the stores whenever you want by clicking 'choose another'.
You can then indicate your connection to the stores
In the first example below the rider has not indicated any additional preferences. The blank button is a recognition that you go to this store but it has yet to deserve your loyalty. We use this level of nomination to encourage the store to lift its game. We can tell stores, for example, that they have a lot of customers who have nominated them but only at the lowest level. We have found this is true for a number of stores.
Click the envelope
By clicking the button to show the envelope, you are telling us that this store has a measure of your loyalty and that you would like to hear from them when they have a promotion for members and Friends. This is the button that will send Bikes Going Fast emails out to you.
Switch the envelope off if you dont want immediate notification of specials.
Click the Heart
By clicking the heart next to one of your shops, you are letting us know that this is your favourite bike shop.You can only select one shop as your favourite, otherwise it wouldn't be a favourite!
Level Three recognises that you are already loyal and you love this store. We want these stores to know that they are doing a great job as far as you are concerned. We encourage these stores to continue to go the extra mile for you.
In the example below the rider loves Bicycle Superstore Albury but will not hear about specials from them. They will hear about specials from Rapido and the Fitzroy Revolution.
Is your shop not on the list?
Please send us a message with the name and location of the shop and we will follow it up with the bike shop to ensure they are happy to be added to the Find a.
