Bicycle Network: Our Organisation
Meet the Behaviour Change Team
The Behaviour Change team aims to make a significant and measurable change, in perceptions and behaviour - through large scale behaviour change programs such as Ride2School and Ride2Work
General Manager - Behaviour Change
Tess heads up with Behaviour Change team. Her experience manging teenage international study programs has given her people skills to effectively communicate with the whole team, now she's transferring these skills to change behaviours of adults and kids through Ride to Work, Ride2School and Parkiteer Programs.
PROFILE: Tess commutes to work each day on her beloved pink bike, and tries to incorporate cycling into her other love - travel. Her claim to fame is she survived the most dangerous road in the world, AKA “the Death Road” on a mountain bike in Bolivia. She says this experience makes the peak hour traffic on St Kilda Road feel a breeze to navigate.
Ride2School Team Manager
Jeff’s role within the Behaviour Change team allows him to focus on the journey to school. That is, improving the facilities and infrastructure between home and the school gate. With a Bachelor of Recreation Management and having worked in local councils, Jeff is passionate and proud about the work he is now doing toward improving the physical activity levels of children and seeing them enjoy riding to school.
Jeff really enjoys getting out in the great outdoors camping and catching a bigger fish than his brother! He rides his bike for pure enjoyment, as what better way is there to see the world than on a bike? You'll also see Jeff around Melbourne racking up the kilometres commuting to work each day.
