Bicycle Network: Our Organisation
Meet the Organisational Development Team
The Organisational Development team work to inspire and motivate team members to get better and better at what they do, to continue to achieve the amazing things that we do, as an organisation.
General Manager - Organisational Development
Liz is heavily involved in the recruitment world of Bicycle Network Victoria, developing people and also guiding and steering culture. The best part of Liz's role is mixing with the various teams, and personally contributing to making the organisation a positive place to work.
PROFILE: After completing a degree in Social Science/Pyschology, Liz spent the best part of two years finding her feet in London and Europe. She saw the best views of London on a bike which was her main form of transport, and now, back in Melbourne has recently acquired a rather sleek road bike which she uses daily.
IS Projects and Support Co-ordinator
Chris loves working with the business to find the correct technology solutions here at Bicycle Network. He finds not only does his role allow him to tap into his Bachelor of Information Systems, IT project and enterprise support experience but he can also engage with his other passions of enviro care, people care, and social change. Chris started out here on a casual basis, but shortly after was snapped up and made permanent – we couldn’t lose this easy going, people caring, future focused IT expert!
What makes Chris tick you ask?! He marvels in days that start early enough to watch the sun rise as he prepares for a long hike, bike or kayak in the fresh air with friends. Ideally the destination is secluded, has great views and someone has thought ahead about bringing along some fresh lunch. True to this philosophy, Chris cycled down the coast of Eastern Canada for 5 months enjoying the great food and wonderful vistas along the way.
Organisational Development Co-ordinator
Morgan's enthusiasm and passion for understanding what motivates people, and how to link this to our mission, vision and values, is the perfect addition to the Organisational Development team. Morgan has a solid background, with a degree in HR and management along with HR related work experiences in NSW, England, Scotland and now Victoria. She is very adaptable, enjoys change and fits in well with our progressive nature! Morgan's drive to build her knowledge hasn't ended after one degree, in 2013 she's signed up to start a post grad in psychology.
PROFILE: Morgan is not subtle about her love for sport - watching or playing! From running along the beach in Newcastle, to playing netball and now becoming a regular at the MCG for the cricket and AFL, she is making sure no event is missed. Bike riding is a new thing for Morgan, but she has battled the bike tracks in Hells Gate National Park in Kenya, mingling with the wildlife on one of her many adventures overseas.
Jodie comes from a varied background, having worked in Event Management as well as working in the private office of the former Deputy Premier of Victoria. After leaving her homeland of New Zealand, living in the UK and travelling through Europe, Jodie now feels lucky to be employed by Bicycle Network Victoria and living in Melbourne. She appreciates the happy workplace and is inspired to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Her role here is the Executive Assistant to the CEO, and she is the master of multi-tasking! She also works closely with the Bicycle Network Victoria board members. Her idea of the perfect weekend is finding a nice bar with some friends and soaking up the sun.
