Bicycle Network: Board & Governance
Geoff Schomburgk
Geoff was appointed to the Bicycle Network Victoria Board in 2011 to fill a one year casual vacancy. He has since been re-elected in 2012 for a 3 year term. He is currently a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Geoff is currently the Director of Strategy Management, Asia Pacific for Ericsson.
He has over 20 years of international experience, and will bring to the Board skills in the development of business strategies, execution of change programs and governance of major projects. He has successfully applied these skills in the context of a large multinational organization as well as for local community sports clubs. His extensive travels offer the opportunity to capture and share current cycling related issues and best practices from cities around the world, such as London, Stockholm and Singapore.
Geoff is a family man with two teenage sons. He is a recreational cyclist and commuter who will support the participation in cycling for all ages and to improve rider safety.
