Bicycle Network: Board & Governance
Simon Crone
Simon was elected to the Bicycle Network Victoria Board in 2002. He has recently stepped down in his role as Board President. He is currently the Convenor of Remuneration, and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
Simon is a Director and the Company Secretary of Betta Foods Group Companies, a Director of JSK Professional Services Pty Ltd, Company Secretary of Campbell Cross Pty Ltd and an independent member of the Shire of Yarra Ranges Audit & Risk Management Committee.
His qualifications include being an FCA, a CPA and a qualified Food Safety Supervisor and his education includes a BCom (Melb) and DipSM.
Simon's involvement with Bicycle Network Victoria began following a challenge from a friend to participate in Around the Bay in a Day. He loved it so much he has now ridden in 7 rides and been a volunteer on over 14 rides!
Simon's favourite expression is Life's better on a bike!
