Meet the Riders Team

Our great Riders Team is made up of a handful of staff, working closely with dedicated Volunteers

Our Membership successes are the result of a handful of staff

Kath Struthers

General Manager - Riders

PROFILE: Kath has worked for Bicycle Network Victoria for three years and volunteered prior to that and her bike bug grows and grows. Kath loves the weekends, not because of the break from work but to get on the mountain bike and find great new trails all around Victoria! With a degree in Tourism Business Management and a passion to explore new places and cultures and meeting new people, she thrives on supporting people and ensuring they are receiving the benefits they want, the perfect fit for Bicycle Network Victoria membership.

Jess Carmichael

Member  & Friends Manager

Jess spends a fair proportion of her day speaking to our wonderful Members and Friends, listening to what they need and expect from their membership. She also comes up with new strategies to enlist a greater number of members to fulfil our aim of getting more people cycling more often.

PROFILE: Jess leads by example and lives a healthy life, 'loves' running and gym workouts and is a dedicated member of the early morning training sessions. She is all style and grace on her vintage Schwin bike (with a leather seat), and makes frequent trips to local markets and the beach, all, off course, with her long locks flowing in the wind.

Jarrod Amos

Volunteering Co-ordinator

Jarrod is one of our highly energetic and enthusiastic members, just the kind of person we need to look after our inspiring volunteers! Bringing along a background in sales where he has been able to build strong relationships over the phone, along with his passion for all things bikes, Jarrod is an asset to the team.

PROFILE: Jarrod loves everything bike related! From hitting the road for an adventure to a National Park, coasting along a rail trail or heading up some hills in the Dandenongs for challenge, Jarrod enjoys every part - and if he is not in the saddle on the weekend you will find him in the shed somewhere fixing or tinkering with a bike. If it involves two wheels, chain and pedals, there's a good chance he is going to want to hear about it!

Sasha Warren

Membership & Riders' Rights Co-ordinator

It's a rare day when Sasha doesn't come into work with fresh ideas about how to make sure Bicycle Network Victoria's members are well taken care of. As Membership Co-ordinator, Sasha is one of the first points of contact for Bicycle Network Victoria on anything membership related. As the Riders' Rights Officer, Sasha assists members uphold their rights.

PROFILE: After a brief stint in the outer north, Sasha has moved back to the inner east. That broad perspective about riding in many different urban environments make Sasha highly empathetic to a broad range of our members.
