Meet the Events team
All our Great Rides are the result of a handful of staff, working closely with dedicated Volunteers

Jason Robilliard General Manager - Events With a background in Legal studies and hospitality management, Jason jumps on board to head up the Bicycle Network Victoria events team with an array of experience, having worked on many hallmark events including the Formula 1 Grand Prix, Moto GP, Melbourne Cup Carnival, Sydney 2000 Olympics, Kooyong Classic, Australian Open, Davis Cup and AFL Grand Final Corporate Villages. Jason's favourite part of his role now is the opportunity to work with the events team, and deliver positive and life-changing experiences for bike riders. PROFILE: As a Melbournian, Jason played Rugby for 10 years, he now continues the fitness training for triathalons with his road bike. In between spending time with his family, Jason also commutes and rides the local bike trails on his mountain bike. |

| Mark Liddle Event Manager Mark heads up two of our inspiring events - Bupa Around the Bay in a Day and the Great Escapade. Committed to our mission, Mark's dedication and passion for our events spreads throughout the team and the result - changing people's lives and getting more people involved in riding and leading a healthy life! PROFILE: Mark is a committed life long bike rider who has integrated bikes into his transportation, recreation and working life since his first wobbly pedal strokes at the age of eight.

Rebecca Lane Event Co-ordinator Bec has hit the ground running in the events team, and what she loves most is working on events where everyday people are champions. She brings to the team great experience from her work on events with Tennis Australia, Spring Fashion Week, the Australian Grand Prix and L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival. PROFILE: After an 8 month stint in South America, Bec now speaks Spanish and can make a mean empanada! You might spot Bec riding along the Yarra on a sunny weekend, or cruising down to the supermarket. She's also embracing the commuter culture and preparing herself to become a regular ride to work-er. |

Megan Saunder Event Co-ordinator Having completed a Bachelor of Sport Management, Megan's dedication in volunteering as an Event Co-ordinator has lead her to her full time Event Co-ordinator role at Bicycle Network Victoria. Megan enjoys her role in working with people ro promote a healthy and active lifestyle, and will continue to be a huge part of the RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride, and also the 3 Peaks challenge. PROFILE: Hailing from South Australia, Megan lives our mission and leads an active lifestyle. She's been known to have a crack at the Triathalon during summer, get involved in adventure races and also moves between a weekend trail ride on the mountain bike, to jumping on her road bike for a spin. |

Jackson Ward Event Co-ordinator With studies in Community Recreation and Sport Management, and also plenty of time in the world of events including roles with Tennis Australia and the Australian Grand Prix, Jackson comes well-equipped to take on the role of Event Co-ordinator. He's ready to and raring to be a big part of our life changing events, with a passion for More People Cycling More Often, and leading the way in creating a healthy society. PROFILE: Jackon's link to bikes is more around fitness to support his footy training and also endurance events - Jackson got involved in 'Tough Mudder' 2012. He's also now keen to get on board riding as a way to get to work. Jackon's claim to fame is his ability to spot celebrities, so far he's bumped into Michael Buble, Katie Holmes, Emma Stone, Tara Reid, Andrew Garfield (Spiderman!) and Vern Troyer (Mini-Me) to name a few. He now counts these stars all as close friends. |

| Ed Jones
Event Co-ordinator Ed's taken on a new challenge and now joined the events team, working on the Great Escapade and Bupa Around The Bay. Ed's come from the Marketing Team and previously studued a Commerce Degree, majoring in Sports Management. Whilst at uni he made the most of his people skills and expert serve as a tennis coach. PROFILE: Now that he lives and breathes all things bikes, he is in the market for obtaining his own flat bar road bike. Once he has decided on the optimum model, he will no longer battle with peak hour public transport but will instead enjoy a leisurely morning ride along the banks of the Yarra into work.
