Mount Macedon is less than an hour Northwest of Melbourne and is perfect for riding. Choose from two great cycling routes 78km/130km; or if you prefer, do our 6.5km/15km run instead. Take the challenge to help find a cure for MS and support the charitable and community giving program of the Rotary Club of Gisborne. The event starts at Gisborne to take in Woodend, Trentham, Daylesford, Kyneton, Hanging Rock and up the easier side of Mount Macedon for a mostly downhill cruise back to Gisborne. If the thought of Mount Macedon is too daunting, there’s also an easier bypass route back home around the foot of the Mount. Now in its sixth year, this event ticks all the boxes for a professional, well-supported ride. Plenty of food and drink - all included in your entry fee - at rest stops and at the finish line BBQ. Lots of marshals giving friendly on-course support; sweeper vehicles to pick up riders & bikes unable to finish; and invigorating gold-coin massages at the end. Importantly, you can be happy knowing that your entire entry fee is going to charity and community programs such as MS Australia, SES, CFA, PolioPlus and others – thanks to the support of our many volunteers and sponsors. Register early and receive a discount. Further discounts for groups of 4 or more. Visit the website for course information and to register. |
