The Sierra Nevada mountain range in Granada has one of the greatest cycling traditions in Spain. The mountain range towers above the historic city and cycling adventures extend up to the highest mountain road in Europe at 3,395m altitude. The tour group will fly into Malaga in southern Spain and begin what will be a memorable week of cycling within the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The tour we have planned is challenging and some previous experience cycling mountains will be necessary. You will have the chance to scale three of the most famous ‘puertos’ (mountain passes) from the professional cycling race ‘La Vuelta a Espana’ (Tour of Spain). All of our cycling stages include a support-van so we will be on hand to look after you if you require extra help.
