Austin/Mercy BUG (A-BUG) represents bicycle users and commuters who are employed by or study at Austin Health, Mercy Hospital and related campuses. Our role is to promote the benefits of cycling to other staff members/students, to assist people to ride to work safely, to improve access to appropriate end of journey facilities, and by these measures increase the proportion of cyclists at our workplace. We are actively involved in lobbying the hospital and health service to provide appropriate cycling facilities. Our goal is to encourage all riders and prospective riders to work together to make cycling a greater part of the Austin Health community
