I live in city/suburb: Frankston

My commitment: I am running in the Frankston North-West ward. I was contacted by a resident who is passionate about cycling, and wanted to make me aware of the issues that cyclists face in and around Frankston. I learned more about the cycling issues from speaking to him for an hour and a few emails than i knew even existed. I am now very aware and enlightened every time i drive on the roads of the poor road conditions, uneven and dangerous surfaces and poor lighting, just to name a few, that negatively affects cyclists. Now that i'm more aware of the dangers and concerns that cyclists face on the road (huge thanks to the resident who spent so much time with me!), i would like to raise these issues and more with the Frankston Council, but also push to have the issues raised with the State govt where necessary.
